Temptation n.1 is the black and cream lace panelled dress by Temperley London. The lace trims the shoulders and bust and black trims create panels over the dress.
A dress to die for.

London-based designer and emerging talent Asger Juel Larsen talks to Setyourstyle about his latest stunning collection. Larsens’ unique exploration of standout materials, ranging from PVC and synthetic rubber to metallic tubes and quilted leather, presents a dramatic masculine look, ‘futuristic’ and yet very wearable. Read his awesome interview to get to know what inspires and influences him and he’s aesthetic and style.
Where are you from and where do you live at the moment?
I’m from Denmark and I’m currently living in London
Can you describe your latest collection?
For my AW 10 collection I turned my eyes to the sci-fi scenario and in particular raw and industrial architecture of a future past, reminiscent of Richard Rogers’ apocalyptic TSB Lloyds building in East London. Cables, tubes, shafts and elevators pervading the building like bones and veins. The film Titus by Julie Taymor with its dark and grotesque costume design was also a great inspirational source.

What influences your work and your aesthetics?
It can be many different things but something that always appear to comes back to me is my interest for war history and sci-fi movies.
What are you listening to/reading at the moment?
I’m listening to Goodbye horses by Q Lazzarus and I’m dreaming about reading more of H. G. Wells.
What do you think style is about? and how would you describe your personal style?
Style is how you wear it. It’s about the persons personality and attitude.
My own style has got increasingly more simple. Actually without my awareness.
Black, grey and strong or dead, sad and weak?

Marlous de Roode creates fashion accessories combining traditional techniques and fabrics with new materials and groundbreaking experiment. All pieces are hand-made and utterly unique.
With De Roode’s couture body and design seem to melt into one. Her accessories are like a second skin, with the body as a perfect fitting doll.
I am in love with her design!

It looks like big readable letters are becoming more and more fashionable! After the Louboutin shoes that we featured a few days ago, we got another item here that has got something to say. Considering that this time we are talking about headphones, big letters could seem more appropriate than on a pair of peep-toe shoes.
