Marlous de Roode creates fashion accessories combining traditional techniques and fabrics with new materials and groundbreaking experiment. All pieces are hand-made and utterly unique.
With De Roode’s couture body and design seem to melt into one. Her accessories are like a second skin, with the body as a perfect fitting doll.
I am in love with her design!

It looks like big readable letters are becoming more and more fashionable! After the Louboutin shoes that we featured a few days ago, we got another item here that has got something to say. Considering that this time we are talking about headphones, big letters could seem more appropriate than on a pair of peep-toe shoes.

The magnetic attraction of women to jewelry is something already known, but this time we have an explanation that comes from physical science!
“Beautiful ‘Magnetic rings’ by French designer Laurent Milon focused on creating shapes that
would evade the limits of nowadays’ industrial processes. He produced the rings with
freezed iron powder, made desirable thanks to molecules of other precious metals.”

The high top sneaker is renewed and inspired by the iconic French pastry! Yummy! It comes in overall 4 pastel colorways, all featuring tonal uppers and will be available at Colette from March 13th.
And watch out for the special limited edition colorway pistache and framboise ONLY FOR COLETTE. 22 pairs only! I have recently rediscover pistachio as a nut, I have been eating quite a few of them lately, so there’s no doubt at all about which color I vote for.
Check the pastel colors after the jump.

In a time of illusions what we need is a vision
JPlus Vision sunglasses and spectacles collection launches with a limited editions of 600 pieces, 25 for each color theme, and is inspired by three music icons from the Bit Generation: John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. Lines and shapes of the three models are very simple and clean, with a bright, vibrant spot color detail on the front. The collection has proudly been designed and crafted in Italy and shows off a typically Italian attention to detail, from the eco friendly packaging to the J shaped cleaning lenses mini cloth. The brand will present an exclusive party during Milan Design Week. Stay tuned!

I am not a big fan of headbands and I think last time I wore one it was probably at the beginning of high school, but when I came across Benoit Missolin eshop I couldn’t resist not to look around a little and I discovered a lot of really nice creations. I am still not sure if I would wear them or not, but surely there are a lot of options to choose from! I think that eventually I would go for the black leather bows (which is available also in red).

David Waytt is one of the winner of Who’s on Next 2009. He has been a fashion designer for fourteen years before turning his attention to woman’s shoes. All the shoes he designs are head turning and sophisticated. I love the ribbon that becomes a sort of “pony tail”.
