Hannah Stouffer illustration

hannah.jpg
“San Francisco based illustrator Hannah Stouffer finds a great deal of comfort in imagery- its an admiration that is often times overwhelming. She has an infatuation with icons that reflect and embrace specific eras and genres. Luxury, royalty, muscle cars, heavy metal, the animal kingdom, femininity, horse races and foliage are all somehow connected in her work by embellishments, pattern and decoration.” I have no words. Her works are such awesome oniric journey. The choice of colors and the mix of elements are so good and never too excessive. In each drawing there is always  more than one story and you only can find and choose the yours one.

Sixpack - Steven Harrington tees

sixpack.jpg
Very cool t-shirts from  L.A.-based artist and designer Steven Harrington. His images can best be described as 60s trip influenced graphics , with a touch of the esoteric, and a bit of modern style influences . All these components create a little explosion of sparkly visual energy.

Miss Van & Katrin Bauer jewels

princesasmarket.jpg
Miss Van has recently opened her own online shop, Princesas Market, where you can purchase postcards, prints, books and jewelry. The most exciting items I saw on the site were jewelry pieces that made by Katrin Bauer. The fusion of creativity and sensitiveness of two artists gives birth to this limited edition collection of jewels.
They’ve chosen the character “la biche” as the main subject for this collection and all of them produced in sterling silver.

Street Art Invasion at Tate Gallery - London

street-art-tate1.jpg
London’s Tate Modern is paying homage to Street Art: six international artists have been decorating the building’s facade and are taking part to a group exhibition that will be displayed until the 25th of August. On the show, that has been launched the 23rd of May, there are Os Gemeos and Nunca from Brasil, JR from France, Blu from Italy, Faile from NY and Sixeart from Barcelona. The cool thing is that the exhibition has inspired many artist to paint all around the neighborhoods, turning them into an outdoor museum.
I really hope to manage to have the chance of flying to London this summer to see this exhibition! Photos via Supertouchart. Click continue reading to see more of them…

Manzi - Botique D’Artistes

manzi.jpg
I met Manzi through Myspace and I got interested into his canvasses straight away. They are not some kind of traditional paintings, cause he impresses upon the canvass at 300 dpi whatever you like or you have been creating. I think this is a great new way to bring home some different kind of art. Also, on his site he has got a nice gallery of artworks, like the one above from Veuch.
