“At Toy Me we play. We play Seriously. We play because we want to have fun, and playing is the essence of creativity and innovation. Our playing must be serious because in an age where everything is accessable, exclusivity can be only manifested by the use of precious materials, hand labor and creativity.” ToyMe is a different jewellery brand . With inspiration from his own childhood and also from some fetish dream, ToyMe transforms classic toys, elements of urban culture and fashion into silver rings, necklaces and bracelets. Go to discover who is the designer behind all these awesome jewels.

born 06/07/1978 in Oslo.
In 2000 Nina and her friend Mirejam Shala released the single “Go to the beat”, while they were working as musicians in the live band of the norwegian artist Påsan.
“Go to the Beat” was the first edition of the label “Racing Junior”.
Their artist name was “Martine & Mirejam”.
In 2003, Nina and Mirejam got separated, Mirejam was reappearing in the band”Fox n´Wolf” while Nina started study languages in Russia and France.
In 2006 the phone company Telenor and “djuice” used the song “Go to the Beat” in a comercial and this created again some interest in Norway and in Finland for the singel “Go to the Beat”.
In 2007 Nina discovered the french artist Xavier Francois Forfait alias Zingone on the internet and got overwhelmed by his music and his film productions. She contacted him, and proposed a collaboration mixing her norwegian vocals with his energetic and innovative electro.
So born Zingone feat Nina and they already did some live shows in Poland, Norway and France. And in the summer of 2008, they will also do live gigs in Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France and Norway.
Nina Martine speaks many languages: russian, english, french norwegian nd also italian so she collaborated with the italian boys “Frost Dj Sexx” and did a funny song “ragazzi italiani” about italian boys, and another one “si muove” that you can listen to on their page.

Jessica Louise clothes are young, colorful and stylish and we adore her here at Set Your Style.
She grew up and lived in the Bay Area her entire life up until the age of 25 which is when she moved to Los Angeles.
Her custom clothing designs, much like the artist herself, are equal parts punk rock power and fairy-tale girliness. As a product of ann artistic family, with a clothing designer for a godmother, the creative life came naturally to her. Basic formal training in the arts, and her years of experience working for style icon Betsey Johnson, gave Jessica Louise a solid foundation from which to take on the fashion industry, but her thriving apparel business has been built largely through hard work and hands on experience. She draws energy and inspiration from her close network of friends who are creators themselves - artists, musicians, jewelry designers, and the like. The business side of the business is run by Sean Starkey, her amazing husband, while she deals with everything creative. Actually, she do cut and sew many things herself. Chances are nine times out of ten if you are ordering something from her online she made it just for you. But her custom creations are especially coveted by a clientele of high-profile celebrities, including many in the music world who seek her out to create special designs for their performances and world tour.

Bryan Derballa is a young, Brooklyn-based photographer. A few years
back, he started Lovebryan.com with community of friends to share
their photos and their lives. He’s interested in merging artful
compositions with significant content. Moreover, he’s interested in
adventure. Whether zipping through domestic cities or foreign
villages, he always has a camera on his shoulder and the need for
excitement. Look at the pictures of his recent trip to Israel. He says there’s a lot to see in Israel as he shows through his beautiful pictures. He has a very romantic and deep soul and he’d like to fall in love (he said this twice in the interview) :–) I hope it will happen soon so that he will take a lot of “falling in love” pictures.

HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I’m 25 and I’m currently negotiating adulthood.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I live in Brooklyn, NY but I’ve been in the Middle East for the last two months.
YOUR WORST VICE?
I’m a good. No drugs or drinking. But like a kid with matches, I shouldn’t be left alone with pretty girls. I only end up hurting myself.
YOUR FAVOURITE SONG?
Depends on the mood. “Lost in the Flood” by Bruce Springsteen always works.
YOUR FAVORITE FASHION BRANDS?
I feel myself falling out of fashion lately. I usually go to the thrift store and get what fits whether the tag is faded off or says YSL. I’ll stand by Levis for jeans though.

Interview and introduction of Verena Grotto
Take three beautiful girls from Madrid, their love for art and music, their passion for discovering new sounds from the UK, especially from Southend, and other eastern European cities. Then put them in a cosmopolitan, fashionable, underground city like London, where the inspirations from the artistic world come from. And here you have the perfect collective of: JUNKETTES. As a big admiration I feel for these girls, for trying to DO something to change what think it could better or improve, and do not just complain, as most of the youth do, I feel almost ‘obligated’ to present them to all of you, and what better way to do it then with their own words.
WHO ARE THE JUNKETTES!
The Junkettes are a collective of 3.
A collective of lovers to art and music.
HOW OLD ARE YOU?
Our ages sum up to : 67
Divide that into three and guess.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
We currently live in the white chapel of London.

Maleficent Martini is a very intriguing character and restricting her to one of her different roles would be a waste. She used to be a professional ballet dancer until the age of 20. Professionally trained at the “TEATRO DELL’OPERA DI ROMA” and at “THE ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL” in London she has been dancing till 2001 and then decided to change her career completely. Now she is the front woman in Maleficent band, which was formed two years ago by her and Mortimer Cain. The band shows mix Maleficent Martini/Mortimer Cain Art Performances, gore scenarios, ballet dancing and Industrial Metal. The music ranges from upbeat synth driven industrial to progressive metal, going through sleazy R’n’R and dirty soundscapes, with antagonizing double vocals, creating a very unique contraposition between beautiful and evil, or mainly just evil.
But Maleficent Martini is not just the beautiful lead vocalist doll. She performs with “TORTURE GARDEN” and other fetish clubs all over europe; she dances and acts for “THE TEXAS CHAINSAW TRAVELLING HORROR PICTURE SHOW” and also for the “UNFASHIONSHOW”, and she has been in several music videos. In her spare time she does some modelling cause she says “it’s just too much fun!”. She will be in SAMPPA VONCYBORG 1st long movie!
I believe that by now you just want to hear what she told us in her interview and to see more of her captivating pics…
