“Kidrobot just announced a jewelry collaboration with designer Tarina Tarantino. The goods will debut in Kidrobot and Tarina Tarantino’s Soho stores on July 30. The new collection includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, charms, rings, and wallet chains that all feature a Kidrobot character, plus Tarantino’s signature Swarovski-crystal embellishments, Lucite beads, pearls, silk ribbons, and cast-metal pendants. We’re eyeing the drop earrings with angry-looking bunnies smoking cigarettes and sticking out their tongues. ” My boyfriend has a lot of toy (also the bunny one, so pink and angry) and he often buy them from kidrobot. Extra soft and yummy this plush lunch pak by designer Trisha Chin. The story is that, post-college, she started bringing along little plush juice-boxes to leave a lasting impressions on interviews. Wow, this is crazy! I just discovered that the communication agency 4uatre commissioned 180 munny toys to be given away as a 2008 present for their friends and clients. You can check all the beautiful 180 design on their website… I wish I can get one for my collection!

In 2007,The Hidrophoniq Store turns itself into Alec Mendez’s solo project and commercial brand, expanding the reach of the products to several countries and collaborating with artists and clothing brands from around the world.
This year Hidrophoniq brand expect to open it first physical store in Venezuela, and offer its products to spain and italy, among other countries in europe.
Hidrophoniq will be part of the new Carrot Clothing (Serbia) collection, sharing his art with designers like Flying Fortress and 123 klan amog others. Also he will be part of the The Crossville Project (Singapore) sharing the line up with artists such Tado, Gaston Caba and Yuck among others.

I love those fashion brands that break the established trend and give an special twist to it. Right now i’m enjoying The Hundreds new collection, along with Original Fake, Rockwell clothing and the Venezuelan brand Pow Clothing wich i’m collaborating with. I’m also loving the ‘Yo Gabba Gabba‘ line from Kidrobot.

Browsing through the internet I came across this funny doll on procurandovagas blog. And it is not just this one! Follow the link and you will find a few frightening friends of this cute little monster. I don’t understand portuguese so I don’t know if they are for sale or not, but for sure they would be a cool present for a cool kid!
