L’hotel Particulier
L’hotel Particulier, in the heart of historical Montmartre townhouse, is surrounded by an unusual and luxuriant garden . Each one of their five rooms surprise us. Renowned artists were invited to brainstorm on the concept of each one of the Suites in an attempt to bring in some of their own artistic perception. My favourite is The “Vegetal room” by Martine Aballéa, contemporary artist, born in New York, works in Paris. She said: “I wanted the guests in this room to feel like they were in a suspended garden or in trees. To have a sensation of flotting in a luminous, soft and flowered space”. I’ve never been in the room but if I see the picture I think she hits the mark.
