I constantly try to work against all my vices, so i cannot really think of one that i fail to overcome.

YOUR FAVOURITE SONG?
I stopped having favorite songs when i was 12. Right now i listen to a lot of jose gonzalez, the kills, the raconteurs, emily haines, regina spektor

YOUR FAVORITE FASHION BRANDS?
I tend to only wear vintage. But i love the fashion of jean-paul gaultier and gareth pugh

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
Ladylike, glamourous, sophisticated, vintage

WHEN DID YOU START YOUR PROJECT?
In april 2007 while living between new york and berlin. I was very inspired by websites like lastnightsparty and ambrel.net so i started glamcanyon. At first i only shot nightlif photos. The street fashion part came 3 months later.

WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY LOOK FOR IN YOUR SHOOTS?
A few things actually. I think i’m primarily looking for a turn-on. I’m working until i get that one picture that wows me. This can be made easy when the person is especially cameraphile or the setting is particularly appealing.

HOW DO YOU SEE YOUR SELF IN 5 YEARS?
I intend to go back to berlin at the end of the year and get a studio to work as a photographer full-time. I specialize in fashion and portrait photography so i’ll be pursueing that. I’ll probably be cooling down on the partying by then and just focus on friends, family and photography.

YOUR DREAM WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD?
I wanted to be a rockstar. What am i talking about, i still want to be a rockstar. Wait, thinking about it – i am a rockstar!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE FASHION STORE??
Oooohh, the truth comes out! There’s an adorable new vintage store in shoreditch, off of brick lane called sam greenberg. I think the local fashionistas have not discovered it yet so it’s a true treasure box full of amazing unique vintage pieces.

IF I CAME TO BERLIN AND LONDON WHAT SHOULD I ABSOLUTLY HAVE TO SEE?
My ideal night in berlin is going out for dinner with friends at i due forni, an amazing italian restaurant by senefelder platz. Across the street from there is 8mm, one of my favorite bars of all time. Have a drink or two and head out to picknick. Always a great time this club. I recently discovered a new club called Villa which is an actual ancient villa and absolute fun.

WHO’S YOUR BEST FRIEND?
I’m lucky enough to have a few. Wonderful people whom I met while traveling the globe.

YOUR LAST TRIP?
I went to berlin. It was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back for good.

AND THE NEXT ONE?
A good friend is having a baby next month. She lives in paris so I intend to visit.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE?
The amazon jungle in brazil.
