Kolt liebt dich.

I asked to Kolt to tell me something about their nice Label.
“For the past three years this Berliner label has gained a circle of devoted followers by creating favorite sweaters for them, each made with much love and technical know-how. Elke Löb, an old-school graphic artist, is the creative mind behind this endeavor. This one of a kind detail-oriented clothing is produced in a cozy studio in Prenzlauer Berg. First the ideas are born out of a creative chaos, then realized by drafting and placing each motif by hand, one at a time, and then printed by using a “flex and flock” technique. Requests are always welcome….

Whatever arises from this think tank, one immediately finds it pleasing to the eye and wants to lock it in one’s heart. The designs radiate, this being confirmed by independent sources, a sense of yearning, romanticism and understatement that soothes, raising them from the masses to defy transience. They profess a passion and love that is found in every single article. There are innumerable variation possibilities because each design can be produced in every format and placed on any model, of which both can be chosen of any of the colors available. Therefore, the customer can be assured that no two pieces are alike. If this proves to be false, perhaps they point to individuals who presumably might be soulmates.
The Kolt family is continuously growing, attested by the fans which assert that encounters with each other in the resonance of the streets are mostly filled with curiosity and goodwill.
Kolt products are available in all sizes for women, children, and men of all ages. Keeping in tune with their philosophy, a great emphasis is placed on producing in an environment friendly manner by using high quality materials and products made from organic cotton that are scrutinized by the Fair Wear Foundation.
Kolt is moving forward with this promise because it is Elke Löb’s goal to create a Kolt Collection that consists of the same quality materials as before, but are then to be tailored and cut locally.
In the future one will be able to find products in limited editions created by different Berliner artists on the website HYPERLINK “http://www.koltliebtdich.de” www.koltliebtdich.de.
Visit the small studio when it is open and marvel at the lovingly arranged variety of beautiful pieces found in the Kolt repertoire. You can then browse, try on and discover for yourself that:
Kolt liebt dich! (Kolt loves you!).”
