Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo strikes back again with another entertaining site promoting its spring line.
This time the models march to the rhythm of the music through the sand boardering the beach. You can also join the march as a model or, if you are not in Japan, you might join the virtual Tokyo March with Google Maps.

When I first discovered Satoshi Date’s work, I thought there was something very special in everyone of his creations, no matter if the media was music, art or fashion. Then, when I had the chance to speak with him I realized that such a unique work comes from a unique and special approach: he aims to connect with the personality and character of those who wear his clothes while enabling them to engage with their emotions.

Ci-pher noun : [sife-er] a secret or disguised way of expressing something ; a code.
Facial expressions, figure, texture and colour of the body are the ciphers of our spirit. It is to know who and what we are. Mind is the pathway of our body and spirit. Let us figure out the ciphers of ourselves through wasted and abandoned objects.Satoshi Date, multi media artist creates his own view of our ciphers through clothing, paintings, film, sculpture and music during this Exhibition. Taking an eco-friendly approach he uses recycled, organic and fair trade materials.
This exhibition will be hold during London Fashion Week.

Spectacular flashmob by Sony, meant to highlight the Vaio’s fashion credentials. The first one took place at the grand central station, NY, while in the second one we can see the Mannequins do dinner and drinks on the Lower East Side in front of marveled passer-by.

Today I stumbled into this blog, Poliester, by Argentinian artist and designer Emanuel Chami. It is an amazing collection of objects created by the artist (toys, clothes, accessories, paintings, sculptures and much more…), most of which are made from recycled stuff. One of my favorite items is CinePulgar, a small book that “show” you the story if you flip the pages fast enough! (check here the video)
I don’t understand Spanish very well, but it seems like Emanuel’s going to inaugurate his shop in Cordoba the 13th of this month. It’s a pity I’m too many flight hours away cause I would love to check it out!

Feel like none of the stuff you see around really suits you? New York-based Night Agency launched a new site for apparel brand Champion that lets users design their own hoodie. Go to the “Hoodie Remix” site and have fun mixing colors and patterns to design your perfect hoodie. Designs are open for public voting and the top hoodie style will then be produced by Champion.
