Jessica Louise clothes are young, colorful and stylish and we adore her here at Set Your Style.
She grew up and lived in the Bay Area her entire life up until the age of 25 which is when she moved to Los Angeles.
Her custom clothing designs, much like the artist herself, are equal parts punk rock power and fairy-tale girliness. As a product of ann artistic family, with a clothing designer for a godmother, the creative life came naturally to her. Basic formal training in the arts, and her years of experience working for style icon Betsey Johnson, gave Jessica Louise a solid foundation from which to take on the fashion industry, but her thriving apparel business has been built largely through hard work and hands on experience. She draws energy and inspiration from her close network of friends who are creators themselves - artists, musicians, jewelry designers, and the like. The business side of the business is run by Sean Starkey, her amazing husband, while she deals with everything creative. Actually, she do cut and sew many things herself. Chances are nine times out of ten if you are ordering something from her online she made it just for you. But her custom creations are especially coveted by a clientele of high-profile celebrities, including many in the music world who seek her out to create special designs for their performances and world tour.

Interview and introduction of Verena Grotto
Take three beautiful girls from Madrid, their love for art and music, their passion for discovering new sounds from the UK, especially from Southend, and other eastern European cities. Then put them in a cosmopolitan, fashionable, underground city like London, where the inspirations from the artistic world come from. And here you have the perfect collective of: JUNKETTES. As a big admiration I feel for these girls, for trying to DO something to change what think it could better or improve, and do not just complain, as most of the youth do, I feel almost ‘obligated’ to present them to all of you, and what better way to do it then with their own words.
WHO ARE THE JUNKETTES!
The Junkettes are a collective of 3.
A collective of lovers to art and music.
HOW OLD ARE YOU?
Our ages sum up to : 67
Divide that into three and guess.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
We currently live in the white chapel of London.

I asked to Kolt to tell me something about their nice Label.
“For the past three years this Berliner label has gained a circle of devoted followers by creating favorite sweaters for them, each made with much love and technical know-how. Elke Löb, an old-school graphic artist, is the creative mind behind this endeavor. This one of a kind detail-oriented clothing is produced in a cozy studio in Prenzlauer Berg. First the ideas are born out of a creative chaos, then realized by drafting and placing each motif by hand, one at a time, and then printed by using a “flex and flock” technique. Requests are always welcome….
