Skull jewels by Dior

The Christian Dior maison is a style icon and all its jewels, from the more clean and elegant to the more baroque ones, reflect this status. All the collection are amazing and beautifully crafted and it’s a pleasure just to look at every single piece of them. The most rioter and exaggerate one is the new “Coffret de Victoire” designed by Victoire de Castellane, where the colorful skulls are raving with gold, green, turquoise and pink tourmalines. But my favorite is the “FianceĆ© du Vampire” made of white gold and diamonds: I love the simple and yet stylish design and the love tale between a young maiden and a Vampire that introduce the collection.

Skull-a-day 2.0

Skull-a-day is a project of Another Limited Rebellion. He created the first skull on June 4th, 2007 and posted it online saying, “I’m making a skull a day for a year”. He made my 365th skull on June 2nd, 2008 (and even posted a bonus skull the day after since it was a leap year!). Now in Skull-A-Day 2.0 he’s posting daily submissions from readers. Check it out, you will find plenty of inspiring stuff and, if you like skulls as much as I do, you will want to live your mark as well!
